Gentle on the skin

Check for irritation and evidence of an existing sensitizatation

RESULT: 3x very good (ahc classic, ahc sensitive, ahc forte)

In the patch test according to internatinal guidelines, no allergic or toxic-irritative intolerance reactions occurred in the preparation mentioned. The preparation can therefore be declared as dermatologically tested or allergy-tested.

Test subjects: 30 subjects
Test concentration: preparation undeluted

Principle

The patch test is the proof of a primary irritant effect or a contact allergy due to epicutaneous, local and temporary contact with the preparation to be examined.

Methodology

The preparation to be tested is used undiluted. The test is taken after an exposure period of 24 hours and assessed for the first time by a specialist in dermatology and allergology. A second and third assessment takes place after 48 and 72 hours.

Assessment of the test results

None of the 30 subjects had any skin changes in the test area after 24, 48 and 72 hours during patch tests according to the international guidelines of the ICDRG (International Contact Dermatitis Research Group). It can be concluded from this that the product will not lead to undesirable skin reactions due to a skin irritant or sensitizing effect when used in practice.

The "ahc sensitive" and "ahc forte" products were also tested with the same criteria and also received the result "very good".
